The team at Gainesville’s All About Women is excited to introduce you to our “new addition,” Dr. Ashima Singla, who joined our practice in August.
Dr. Singla, a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, brings a great deal of talent to All About Women. Her diverse set of gynecological, obstetrical, and surgical skills will allow her to assist a wide array of women in the practice.
Dr. Singla loves to deliver babies and is able to manage both low- and high-risk pregnancies. She also enjoys guiding women from adolescence to menopause through their changing healthcare needs and concerns. Adept in handling difficult gynecological cases as well, Dr. Singla is trained in both minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists and is also certified in da Vinci robotic surgery.
Dr. Singla trained at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science in India, where she earned top medals for academic excellence. She also served as chief administrative resident at Rochester General Hospital in New York. During her time at Rochester General, she received numerous awards for her outstanding research, practice skills, and bedside manner.
Dr. Singla has two children with her husband, who is a neurosurgeon at the University of Florida. Besides spending time with her family, she also loves to cook and travel during her leisure time.
