As part of our continued commitment to encouraging women to be proactive and involved in their own health, we’ve added two new articles to our women’s health knowledge center since our last update. We know that the internet is full of articles on women’s health, but often these sources either don’t tell you enough, or give you the information in such a way that you’d need a medical degree of your own to interpret it, not to mention how many women’s health articles on the internet come from unverified or unqualified sources.
This month we’ve addressed two new topics in our knowledge center, and whether you are already a patient at All About Women, looking for an OB/GYN in the Gainesville area, or simply an internet visitor searching for solid information on women’s health from a trustworthy source, we hope you will find our knowledge center to be a helpful resource in your efforts to be knowledgeable about your own health.
Endometriosis: An Overview – Endometriosis is more common than many women realize. This article discusses the symptoms, treatments, how endometriosis is diagnosed and current theories about what causes this disorder. Our goal with our endometriosis guide is to give you a full range of facts without the fluff to help you more fully understand this condition.
Bringing Baby Home: Tips for the Transition – Returning home with your new baby can be stressful, particularly for first time mothers with no experience to draw from. That’s why we’ve created a guide to help you prepare for both the expected arrangements and the little unexpected things you may not have considered. Motherhood is always an adventure, but a little bit of preparation can help you spend more time enjoying baby’s first days home and less time dealing with surprises.
Keep an eye out for future updates as we continue to expand our knowledge center into an even more valuable resource for patient education on women’s health topics.
